Wenceslau de Moraes
Wenceslau de Moraes (Lisbon, May 30, 1854 – July 1, 1929 in Tokushima), sometimes spelled Venceslau de Morais, was a Portuguese writer whose works were steeped in orientalism and exoticism, particularly the culture of Japan. A translator of Haiku, his verse was also influenced by Symbolism.
